2017 Prince of the Peel

The Prince of the Peel was once an annual event hosted by the Mandurah Yacht Club. The regatta was held over two days on the Estuary waters off Dawesville, attracting a fleet of sailors from all over the state.

With support from the Peel Development Commission, Mandurah Offshore Fishing and Sailing Club is pleased to announce that after more than 30 years the Prince of the Peel, one of Mandurah’s sailing traditions will, once again, be making a return. The regatta will be held over two days on the Queen’s Birthday long weekend in September, to remind the community of sailings simple pleasures.

The two day sailing regatta is expected to include three races, including the ‘Around the Island’ race and is to be held on the waters of the Peel Inlet and Harvey Estuary, Mandurah.

This fantastic event is open to all small trailable sailing vessels, including;

  • Trailer Sailers
  • Off the Beach Dinghies
  • Multi-Hulls
Entry and Registration

Entry fee will be $100 per boat.

Regatta Documents and Information

Pre-Race Briefing will be held in the Sundowner Bar at MOFSC on Friday 22nd September

Presentation Dinner will be held on Sunday 24th September at MOFSC
