The Dinghy section is fortunate to have several areas to sail depending on the sailors’ abilities and local weather conditions. The club actively supports member participation in inter-club competitions as well as state and national events and prides itself on the wide range of people that participate in sailing in the Dinghy Section. They range in age from primary school through to teen and adult sailors.
Some of the Dinghy events include:
- Club Events
- Championship and Consistency Racing for senior & Junior dinghy
- Winter Series
- Saturday sailing – October to April
- Peel Regional Academy of Sports
The club has an excellent Learn to Sail training program for those who have never sailed before and for the up-and-coming sailors of the future. Dinghy racing for the more experienced dinghy sailors race on Saturday afternoon.
