The Dinghy section is fortunate to have several areas to sail depending on the sailors abilities and local weather conditions. The club actively supports member participation in inter club competitions as well as state and national events and prides itself on the wide range of people that participate in sailing in the Dinghy Section. They range in age from primary school through to teen and adult sailors.

- Championship and Consistency Racing for senior & Junior dinghy
- Winter Series
- Saturday sailing – October to April
- Peel Regional Academy of Sports
All of our Junior Sailors at the MOFSC have extended their boundaries in sailing experiences and some have gone far beyond what they thought they could have achieved, whether in Club Competition or at State or National levels.
The club has an excellent Learn to Sail training program for those who have never sailed before and for the up and coming sailors of the future. Dinghy racing for the more experienced dinghy sailors race on Saturday afternoon.

West Coast Traveller Series 2020/21
Food & drinks will be available for lunch at the hook cafe before racing.
The series presentations & finger foods will be available after racing at 1630-1700.
If any competitors would like to stay for dinner, the restaurant will be open from 1800.
