KEELBOAT RESULTS
KEELBOAT SAILING RESULTS 2020/21
Results for the MOFSC 20-21 Keelboat Summer Series will be processed through the SailSys Race Management platform this season. SailSys is an increasingly popular, web-based registration, timing and handicapping system, operated out of Sydney, and provides a simpler and more user-friendly system that our volunteers can quickly learn to manage.
This year, results are based on two mixed fleets:
- Spinnaker Fleet – consisting of Division A and Division B boats
- Jib and Main Fleet – consisting of Division C and Division C Nominated boats
Sub-series, such as Coastal Series and Short-Course Series, will also be reported for the relevant fleet.
Note that all results are preliminary until finalised at the end of the season. Please direct any questions to the Race Committee, as per the contact details in the Sailing Instructions.
RACECAM
A camera has now been fitted to the Race Control boat and records images of the start/finish line at 1-second intervals. This allows results to be double-checked, particularly in tight finishes. Each image is time-stamped, but this is not necessarily synchronised with the official race clock. The images are not an official record and are retained for information purposes only.
The images are stored on Google Drive with the following naming convention:
