Mandurah Boat Showcase 2018

Mandurah Offshore Fishing and sailing Club held the inaugural Boat Showcase for 2018.

It was a huge success and everyone who attended have stated through the survey that they want to see the Mandurah Boat Show back and the club is already planning the next one.

While numbers were not counted, once the clouds cleared the people just kept coming.  With live music and great weather, the show was a buzz with people enjoying viewing the boats on display, the music and the food and beverage offerings.

Carl Segreto from RMarine Mandurah agreed that the day was a success with one sale on the cards and several leads to follow up on. David Smale from Multihull Solutions agreed and had a lot of interest in the new Fountane Pajot Sailing Cat that they had on display and will be busy for weeks following up the interest he had. Patrick darling from Multihull Central was also delighted with the response.

Michael from McHenry Hohnen came down for the wine tasting, which was received well as he had to restock from the club.

The General Manager Andrew Henshaw advised that plans for a similar format next year were already underway and there will be more displays and more entertainment.

You could sum it up by saying the train has left the station and the Mandurah Boat Showcase is back.

We could not finish off without adding that Commodore Rob Brown was most impressed with how the day ran and is looking forward to the next one.
