Tackers is an introductory, fun, games-based sailing program designed for primary school aged kids. Kids don’t need to have any prior sailing experience and we will provide all the equipment.
Tackers involves 20 hours of participation over a series of sessions, each child receives a Tacker kit and a certificate of achievement upon completion. Tackers instructors are young, energetic, love sailing and have gained Yachting Australia accreditation.
All the equipment, including the boats, is provided along with Yachting Australia qualified Instructors and Assistant Instructors, Tackers Pack and on the last day a BBQ to celebrate achievements and to hand out certificates.
Juniors join FREE here at MOFSC! Why not join with them? The Mandurah Offshore Fishing & Sailing Club is great for families – situated on the beautiful Mandurah waterways with views of the marina & sparkling Indian Ocean, complete with its own beach, playground & fully licensed bar & restaurant – you don’t have to have a boat to be a member!
