Last week two of our former juniors Luke Abbott and Josh Henshaw, teamed up with fellow sailors from Royal Freshwater Bay and Royal Perth Yacht Club to represent Curtin University at the 2017 Australian Uni Games held on the Gold Coast. It was a great week for the boys to dust of the cob webs, compete in new waters and meet up with new friends and old.
Rear Commodore Sailing said it was great to see that our past juniors are still sailing and using the skills they learnt as a junior. Learning to sail is a life long skill. With the start of the season around the corner and new dinghy’s arriving this year it is the perfect time for members to get their kids in the 2017 – 2018 program.
