Mandurah Fishing Classic set to draw big crowd of keen anglers
Event organiser and MOFSC member Gary Russell-Brown said the classic highlighted the Peel region’s love for fishing.
“I think the entire region, especially in the heart of Mandurah, is filled with people who love getting out on the water or just fishing anywhere in general,” he said.
“And the fishing here is so diverse – that’s why we have up to 15 species available to catch in the competition.
“It’s also a really good way to get the kids involved in fishing and get them outdoors.”
The club will also be putting on a breakfast from 5am at Hook Cafe for $5, along with a post-competition pop-up bar and dinner in the gallery restaurant.
Registration forms can be found online at mofsc.com.au/rmarine-fishing-classic-2018/
Alternatively, people can contact the club directly on 9535 6251.
